Chairman's Message
The Nepal Direct Selling Association has been formed to provide direct guidance to the companies carrying out institutional legal activities along with the rights, interests and business conduct of the licensed companies for direct sale. This organization has been established with the active participation of all the current licensed companies and would like to appeal that spontaneous membership will be provided to the company getting licensed through the same legal process.
Regardless of the situation, activities and perception in the past, the organization is committed to make Direct Sales System as an excellent business in the context of Nepal in accordance with business conduct and principles in the upcoming days by fully adhering to the state law in accordance with the global values, norms, current enactment and practices. Hence, I humbly request all the companies to unite in this umbrella organization and cooperation for their rights, respecting the coordination, activism and experiences of all the office bearers. I would also like to make a heartfelt appeal to all for your cooperation and join us with an open heart as the purpose is to develop and establish it as a purely business and lone umbrella organization of Nepal.
A commitment of Executives
Nepal has just entered a new era of direct sales system despite the long history and global popularity. Due to shortcomings in past experience and practices, unhealthy competition, performing business activities in chaotic way by taking beneficial of lack of clear laws of the state and inability to be aware of standard and quality products, although this method has made an effective impact, this method could not make a positive contribution in Nepal. As a result, even though the general youth are attracted to this method, the reputation of this method has not been so good.
Even today, the fascination with this method has not diminished and there is no doubt that it is the best option to use quality products along with import substitution and export promotion and development of business entrepreneurship and provide standard employment. From the economic, social and personal achievements of the world market till date, Nepalese youth and consumers are getting more enthusiastic towards this method.
Therefore, the member companies of this umbrella organization, the representatives of the said company, who are the office bearers of this umbrella organization, have the responsibility to assign the facilities provided to this direct selling companies in accordance with the Direct Sales Act 2074 (made for Regulation and Management) and Rules 2076 for establishing the activities of the based business and the companies affiliated with this organization as a disciplined marketing in accordance with global values, beliefs and practices, to be able to make significant contribution to the society and the nation and to be aware of the business conduct and purity of the businesses through this system. The officials of this organization are committed to motivate growth, increase awareness and develop qualitatively.
We sincerely request the licensed companies to sell directly for cooperation and collaboration and also humbly appeal to the general consumers to enter into contracts with the companies operating as per the rules.
